Burying in the ground

Q.) Can the corrugated pipe be buried in the ground without special protective measures?

A.) The CSST should be placed in a protective tube before burying in the ground.

Installation in screed

Q.) Can the system also be installed together with underfloor heating?

A.) If there is underfloor heating, installation is only possible below the insulation, separation of corrugated pipe and underfloor heating is recommended.
     (Installation below the screed in the insulation is possible if there is no underfloor heating.)

Installation in supply shafts

Q.) When the CSST is installed in supply shafts, is it necessary to ventilate the shaft?

A.) As long as the CSST run in the supply shafts contains no joints, ventilation is not necessary.

Article number information

Article numbers for CSST are constructed as follows:

Prefix: 2 or 3 letters (here EWG)
DN: 2 numbers (here 20)
Length: 2 numbers (here 05)

e.g. 5 m Roll CSST in DN20 - EWG2005
