Secure the LEIFELD Sound Shield with a LEIFELD Backing Plate. Use either Part# 1280 and two 4,8 x 16mm self-tapping screws Part# 1075 or ....
... Part# 1279 and two M5 x 16mm panhead screws Part# 1034. Secure using either the outside (A) or inside (B) holes.
Secure the wall elbow using two self-tapping screws, either 4,2 x 16mm Part# 1074 or 4,8 x 16mm Part# 1075. Note: Max. screw length 16mm!
Wall elbows can be rotated in 45° steps on the LEIFELD Sound-Shield.
Mounting at 153 mm centres requires one LEIFELD Sound-Shield be secured using the inside holes on the LEIFELD Sound-Shield and the slotted holes (A) on the LEIFELD Strap. The other LEIFELD Sound-Shield is secured using the outside holes (B) as shown.
Check for 153 mm and tighten the mounting screws, finished!
Add the LEIFELD Sound-Cap Part# 1295 for extra protection.
